Refund policy

Last updated

Within 7 days, for any reason

If you bought Yonto Pro in the last 7 days, you can have a full refund, for any reason. You don’t need to say why. This doesn’t apply to a licence revoked for breaching the terms, except where the law says otherwise.

How to ask

Either:

  • Reply to the receipt email from Paddle, or find your order at paddle.net and ask for a refund there, or
  • Email support@yonto.app from the address you bought with.

The refund goes back to the way you paid, including the sales tax you paid. Paddle, who sells Pro as the merchant of record, makes the refund; how soon you see it depends on your bank.

After 7 days

After 7 days we don’t refund by default. If Pro doesn’t work for you and we can’t fix it, write to us and we will make it right, which may be a refund. Nothing here limits the rights you have under consumer law, such as the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, or a right to cancel the purchase that the law where you live gives you.

What happens to Pro

A full refund takes Pro off your licence. Pro turns off the next time Yonto checks in with the licence service, within about a month, and Yonto goes back to the free plan:

  • One source of your own stays on; the rest stay saved but are turned off.
  • Installing a plugin needs Pro again. Plugins you already installed keep working and updating.
  • Your history, settings and the demo library are untouched.

Chargebacks

If you dispute the payment with your bank instead, Pro is taken off in the same way. Please write to us first; a refund is quicker for you.
